Going into this preview, I was not sure what I expected. I was drawn in with the discussions of the three aunts and further drawn in by the fortune telling scene. I had to laugh a bit during the fortune telling scene with the fortune being "Your doughnut will be stale". I'm excited to see where the novel goes from here and how the title ties in. The cover is also intriguing as it reminded me of novels like Song of Achilles or the Percy Jackson series.
