Intriguing, twist on current day's events by one of my favorite YA authors
Loved Kristan Cashore's fantasy YA series and I'm excited she's coming out with a new novel. This one sounds intriguing as it tackles current events of the pandemic and Trump's administration with a magic touch. The cover is evocative with hints of hope on how the protagonist might be able to get out of the darkness of 2020.
My own son was a 2019 high school graduate and I saw firsthand how the Trump administration and the pandemic affected him and his peers. Would be beyond excited if I won a copy of Cashore's novel.
