The story in the First Impression ambled along slowly and didn't give me a clear idea of what the plot or the focus of the story is going to be like. The focus on the pandemic inspires some mixed feelings; on the one hand, it's interesting to see sort of adjacent perspectives on something I've lived through, but it also feels too earlier to be comfortable looking back on.
