The Wrong Kind of Weird is a fun story about a guy named Cameron Carson. He has been hooking up with Karla, the student council president, but does not want anyone to know because his friend groups are super different. Cameron is part of the multicultural Geek and Nerds United (G.A.N.U) and Karla is part of the Caravan, the most popular teens at school. Later he bonds with Mackenzie, the new girl, and he starts to wonder who really are his friends. So the story is kind of typical high school social order of nerd vs cool kids but it also is about a lot more. Cam is very relatable and the story is told from his point of view which I really enjoyed. The characters are excellent and very well-written, I loved the diverse cast. All in all, I found it to be a highly entertaining look at high school social classes and what happens when the lines start to blur.
