Wow! This book was so good. I’ve recommended it to so many people and they have all agreed. The only issues I had with the book is that there were a lot of references to different anime's at the beginning and it was a bit overwhelming because I don’t watch anime. A few of the people I recommended it to do watch it though and they said that it was super relatable and it was easier to understand. (I however don’t watch these types of things and found myself more confused than understanding.) The dynamic between Cameron, Mackenzie, and Karla kept me yelling at my book hoping that Cameron would somehow hear me. I loved how this contemporary novel really just speaks to the high school experience and finding your way through as well as figuring out what matters most to you. This is super important nowadays and I love how the author touches on the high school experience and love within high school.
