This young adult book was. It was entertaining while I was reading it but there wasn't anything spectacular about the story. I was getting frustrated with Cameron and how he kept chasing after the wrong girl when clearly the one who he should've been with from the start was his friend Mackenzie. But that is how it is in real life, a lot of the times too. People never the person who truly loves them when it's staring at your face.
But I also did enjoy the nerdy talk Cameron and his friend will have. Because, me, myself, do love watching anime and Studio Ghibli movies (which I am kind of obsessed with). So it was fun seeing the names of anime and stuff like that, that I have watched before and still enjoy watching them.
But like I said, this book wasn't bad by any means, it just didn't do anything much different from other young adult books I read before.
