I liked the writing in The Wrong Kind of Weird and I will be looking into this author’s work in the future, but I personally could not get into it as much since it’s hard to root for Karla and Cameron as a couple throughout the novel. It is a waiting game through their half-relationship. Another knock against the book for me, but not one that totally skewed my opinion, is that I don’t particularly enjoy Pride and Prejudice and there are several references as it plays a part in the plot. The students are acting it out and its discussed often. There are some very likable characters though and I appreciated their friendship and personalities. I give it three stars overall! Not bad. I also enjoy the cover, so that's something! Thank you, BookishFirst, publisher, and James Ramos, for the free copy for my honest review. I really appreciated it!
