I honestly struggled to get through this book.
I think the main issue for me would be the main characters self proclaimed nerdy personality. For the story it is cute and its well done however there are some situations when the characters go on page long rants about some sort of anime or manga that really doesn’t do anything for the story. I hate to skim but I’ll admit I did in some chapters.
Another problem I had with this story was the main character. He comes off as so annoying and indecisive. In one moment he’s madly in love with one character and in the next he’s insulting her in favor of the next. I love the storyline and the idea but the back and forth between the two love interests almost gave you whip lash from him switching sides so quickly.
Overall it was a good and shorter read. There were just some things that weren’t for me. It definitely got better towards the end however was difficult to get into initially.
