It is full of tropes for a rom-com YA book. The writing is amazing, characters are relatable, the story is satisfying to read. It is perfect for anyone who loves that. I can see this book as a show or movie by the vibe it gives off. Easily see it on CW or Netflix. (Sorry but not sorry.)

There is a lot of pop culture reference which I love. All the geekiness is quite relatable. Which also made me realize I do not know that much on Dragonball. All the cosplay and anime references put a smile on my face. I would have been obsess with this book when I was a teenager.

Love triangles are not my thing. There is only one you can wish for the main character to end up with. Karla came out to be unlikeable at the beginning, not wanting to be seen in public with a geek. Red flag right there. Until knowing what is really going on with her.

The book cover is pretty. I like the cartoon art for contemporary YA books.
