So much potential, can't wait to read this one!

I loved that there is diversity in the characters, it was not the typical group so it allows for a much broader perspective and opens the doors to a lot of possibilities. Even with just reading the first chapter I can tell that the book is going to be different from the typical YA high school setting, and this is exactly what I want to see and read. The main character, Cameron, is unique but is facing a challenge common to all so it allows him to be relatable to all while giving a new perspective on how different people will notice or view the same situation. I look at things from one lens but being able to see things from a different lens is like putting on a pair of glasses that allows me to see more. From the brief chapter I was able to read, I really enjoyed the writing style of Mr. Ramos because it flows naturally. Cameron is a quirky character and one I can easily see myself loving and rooting for, so much potential for this character throughout the book. This is a book I will be buying to support the author and also to share with those I mentor and tutor because I think it is one that they will enjoy and want to read.
