There were so many references in this First Look to anime and what I assume are current movies and video games, that I felt like I was from another planet. I have teenage grandchildren and can undersand their conversations, but I was totally lost. I am not sure if any of the subjects were important to the main story line, but all of the cultural comments made me feel like I must be missing an important part of the plot.
This is not a book that I would even attempt to read and I will read most anything.
