This was my first book by this author. I really liked how short it was, and it was a very quick read. It was a little slow at first, and I was not very invested in the first part of this one. It really caught my attention in the 2nd part of the book and the end.
I enjoyed the alternating point of views between the two girls. It would have been fun to get a chapter or two from the perspective of the woodsmen. I also liked how this broken into three parts. I liked the way it ended. Gives you just enough information to make your own conclusion.
To me this started out more YA, but then it got pretty graphic at the end! I haven’t camped since I was young, and this definitely didn’t get me motivated to go camping now!! It was a fun, creepy read!
I’m excited to read more from this author! I hope they are all just as creepy as this one! I also love the color of her books! You instantly know which books are written by her.
