I've only ever read There's Someone Inside Your House by this author so I was excited when I saw this book coming out. I enjoyed this book. To be honest I love books and movies with this kind of plot or just simply getting lost in the forest and trying to survive. I could read and watch stuff like that all day. If I'm remembering correctly I think this book is shorter than the other one. So this one is a very quick read and it's fast-paced as well. I liked how the author worked up the mystery and suspense with this because I honestly didn't know if it was gonna be man or nature that hurt the girls. I also didn't expect this to have actual gore in it which I loved. I thought it made the book that much better. I likes the characters and the relationship throughout the book. The characters were flawed and their relationship went how you'd expect out in the woods bring forced to survive and look in at yourself which they both did as the story progress. One of the things I didn't like about the book is that the perspective would change in the middle of a chapter. If wasn't paying close attention I would get a little confused. Besides the chapters that had their names on it you had to pay attention to who was talking. A few times I had to reread stuff to understand better. Despite the weird perspective changes I really enjoyed this book and it kept me on the edge of my seat.
