I know authors aren’t bound to genres, but it’s amazing that this is the same author who wrote the light and frothy YA, Anna and the French Kiss — the tone here is totally different, with a creepy atmosphere and chilling, tightly woven thriller plot. Stephanie Perkins is a talented voice in YA!
