This is Bound to be a Thrilling Disaster

I thoroughly enjoyed this first look and it left me wanting for more. Although I’m at the ripe age of 30, I can remember what it was like to be 18 and going away to a different college from your best friend. It’s interesting to go back and revisit those feelings - a time when you feel invincible and ready to conquer the world, but also terrified to enter the next stage in your life.

Overall, I think this book will be an intense thriller. The second I read that the girls were “relying on technology” like GPS and the compass app, I realized just how ill-prepared they were for this 3-day hiking expedition. Couple that with a reference to Revenant and discussion of how humans are more dangerous than bears, you just know that this is going nowhere good!

This reminded me why I never want to go hiking in the middle of nowhere. Instead, I shall just read about it! I can’t wait to read the rest!
