I have been to the Pisgah National Forest several times. It is a beautiful area with so many waterfalls. I hiked up a very steep path to see the "Triple Falls" that was used in the Hunger Games movies one of my visits.
I see the girls are from Asheville, NC which is definitely a hippie town even to this day. such a fun city to visit.
Right away in the reading of the first look, I love the authors sense of humor. It is the first book I have experienced by Stephanie Perkins. Great to see the humor the best friends have with each other even though Neena is going to go to CA for college and leave Josie behind.
I absolutely love reading about all these places up in the mountains that I have actually visited. Brevard is one of my favorite places.
So we see that Neena is the more adventurous one and also the one who has a good idea about her future. Josie does even want to go to college because she doesn't know what to study.
Not sure I would want to meet other teens only to have one tell stories that would frighten me, although I love hiking! The third path????? Oh my what a way to leave us up in the air! Yes, I want to know what happens!
