Love the cover and the synopsis sounded interesting, but the first five pages felt like a contest to see how disdainful one could be about everything in the universe. I couldn’t read anymore because I couldn’t get past the voice. Maybe it’s not fair to judge an except on so little, but I need to be hooked quickly and this didn’t do it.
