This book sounded interesting with the premise of girls heading into the woods as a coming of age thriller. I have an unnatural fear of the forest. This book took my fear and tripled it!!!!! The book follows Neena and Josie who are headed out on a 3 day hike before they separate and go off to college. They are best friends who want to enjoy something for themselves. They are both inexperienced and have fears of the dangers within the forest. As they hike they begin to experience struggles as hikers do. There is the feeling of being watched and being lost. I felt the anxiety as I read the book. This book had me hooked and i cannot wait to read the entire thing!
