I am eagerly awaiting this book. I liked There is Someone Inside Your House. I didn't love it, but I did really like it. It thought, especially the ending was too simplistic and am hoping that the author has improved on their plotting. The idea sounds great, but also sounds like some other books, for example Campfire by Shawn Sarles. So I really hope this second book lives up to expectations and does a better job.
