I haven’t read any books by Stephanie Perkins, but she’s someone I’ll check out. This book sounds like it will weave together literal and figurative paths of adventure and life. Two loyal friends about to embark on new paths of life after high school take off on a bonding backpacking trip in the woods. Their path of adventure tests the bonds of their friendship and takes them on paths they never expected.

I can’t tell if this book in intended to be YA due to the age of the characters. That doesn’t deter me. I enjoy YA literature. It’s easy to relate to friendship, looming change, and challenges of any stage of life.
