Karla, Jennica, Bill.... I do love the writing style of dedicating each chapter to a character. As you read about each character it gives you an idea of their identity. However, it causes you to question how or when does each character intersect.
Karla's character does seem interesting. She's studying to be a lawyer, lives in a hostel and needs the money to pay for school and lodging. You do get a glimpse of her past. It seems as if she lived a hard childhood and mostly took care of the household and her mother.
Jennica's character is introduced as a young 20 something that has no direction but has been on the Tinder train for awhile. You do get to see that she meets Steven one of the characters. But wait he is married to Regina is the date with Jennica in the past or present day.
Lastly Bill's character is introduced as a loving Father that is taking care of his daughter. His wife died seemingly from a short illness. Bill's chapter ends with him being interrogated by the police. He is being questioned in regards to Steven and Regina's murder. This goes against how Bill was introduced.... A loving Father. I look forward to reading this book and tying up the loose ends!
