I found the premise of this book to be super interesting. I enjoyed the multiple POVs and flashbacks. The book is told from the POV of three different people. It took until the very end of the book to find out what they had to do with each other. I liked the ending, but it was fairly anticlimactic. This book is a very slow burn. Almost painfully slow. It definitely could have been a 100 pages shorter. The book did keep me engaged, as I was invested in the story right from the start.

The story is very character driven. The character development was done very well and I felt like we got to know the three main characters well. Each of them was dealing with a lot of past traumas. There is also a child in the story that I really felt for.

I also enjoyed the title and the cover of this book. It’s very simple and intriguing and made me want to read more.

If you like slow burn domestic mysteries then I recommended you grab this book.
