I'm so glad I used my BookishFirst points to get this novel. I don't know if I view this as a mystery or a thriller. It has a little bit of both with a pinch of romance. Regardless of how you would classify It - It was a really enjoyable read. I found the three main characters to be in some interesting situations and well developed. The novel moves at a good pace and I didn't want to put It down. The story is told from different points of view and is organized well. Sprinkled in is some police interviews from after the crime that made me scratch my head a few times. I thought I had It figured out, but was way off course. The writing gave me enough detail to create a great picture in my mind and It comes together like a movie. The ending was unexpected and fulfilling. I'm off to order this authors other book, A Nearly Normal Family.

Thank you to BookishFirst and Celadon Books for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.
