The book was a slow read for me but was still a good book for when I had downtime. It is like a mystery because of the couple that dies, but there is also more and more to the book than just that. Things are uncovered throughout the book and we see how the family in the book goes about their lives with their own struggles that they have been going through. A lot is revealed and a lot is not what it seems. For example, the wealthy couple was not as they seemed. There are some twists that come out of nowhere that I was not expecting, which made the book more interesting. The book also teaches us to not trust anyone because people can be close to you, but you do not know every single fact about them and so they can have secrets from you that you may never even think about, which can make them dangerous since you do not know that about them. We also see how at one moment in time people may be one thing, but that can change over time.
