The Woman Inside by M.T. Edvardsson is a murder mystery about a wealthy couple that is found dead inside their very own home. The book is actually describing the events that led up to the murder, but from the very beginning, we know a lot of what is going to happen at the end which I think is a good use of dramatic irony, especially considering the way that it was done.

This novel is told from the perspective of three people: the cleaner of couples' house, the cleaner's housemate, and the murdered husband's affair partner. There are also several police interviews included throughout the book which take after the murder so we have a bit of time-jumping here.

Overall, this book had a decent premise and a good-enough plot although the ending was extremely predictable. I did enjoy the cultural elements though(The book takes place in Sweden).
