I really enjoyed this one. This was a very solid, extremely fast-paced mystery that lovers of domestic suspense will enjoy.

I thought the author did an excellent job with the pacing of this novel. The book is set up with chapters that are on the shorter side with alternating perspectives for three central characters, interspersed with sections on the investigation into the crime itself - article snippets, crime scene reports, and police interviews. I flew through the book and loved the investigation sections because they served as a window into the future while the characters' perspectives told the story chronologically.

I think the author did a great job setting up the three distinct characters as well as giving us a glimpse into the lives of the Rytters - the couple at the center of the crime. They did an excellent job of weaving the lives of these characters together to create a tightly plotted novel.
