The Woman Inside by M. T. Edvardsson seems to alternate between three points of view: Karla, a student working as a house cleaner; Jennica, a young woman who pretends to be a student; and Bill, a recently widowed, unemployed dad. (There may be more; there were just these three in the First Look.)

The best parts of the First Look were the excerpts from police records, including a cop's recollection of first encountering the scene and an interview transcript. Some of the three characters' chapters felt a bit long or overly detailed. I am guessing the whole book might be more of a slow burn than a fast-paced mystery.

The cover isn't particularly eye-catching, but I think the yellow window on an otherwise dark cover conveys the book's genre well.
