Multiple POV and short chapters keep the narrative fast

I don’t like the cover of this book and was prepared to dislike the writing. I am hit or miss on suspense books. I liked the flow of multiple POV and short chapters. I feel like I have a good u deer standing of the storyline in the brief bit shared for the First Impression.
