I think I gave up too quickly on this author’s previous book, which is something I regret, so I really want to give this one a solid try. It certainly has a very compelling beginning. While I cannot say I find the writing style to be inviting - it feels a bit stilted - it does seem like there is captivating story within these pages so I’m looking forward to continuing with it.
