This book was amazing, truly told an amazing story from the first hand perspective. I often times felt like I was with the author as things were happening. And I always wanted things to turn out well. I don't often read indy books, but I'm so glad I did with this book because I feel like this is such a powerful story and needs to be shared. And was done so in a beautiful way. Everything in the book comes together in the end, and there is closure. It was also really nice reading about the author's last through as well, just to have more understanding of where she is coming from when certain things happen. I really feel empathy towards her and husband and just how things change when someone goes into the Army, even for a little time. Also, it was amazing to hear about other wives in different situations still going through some of the same issues. It put a true human touch on everything, and if you want to understand more of what spouses do when their partner goes into the army, this is the book for you.
