This book is so great. I was a military wife and the connection you have with other wives is unbeatable. To finally have a book out there that details what a wife goes through. How she is just as much at war as their husband. At war with the not knowing, not having your spouse there when you need them the most. I love the fact that she goes into so much detail about what she was going through. I never let anyone know what I was going through other than a handful of friends, but for her to write a book that lets anyone that picks up the book know what a military wife goes through. I feel as if a military wife is an unsung hero. They are the ones that keep everything going and having to raise family alone. They do not get enough credit, respect, or recognition. It also goes to show how we don’t let our husbands know what we are feeling because it just adds to everything.
