I knew after reading the synopsis that it was likely that I wasn't going to be able to get into this book. I have a hard time developing a pace with most memoirs in general and even more so as the military world isn't something that I can drawn to. With that being said, it is clear that the author writes passionately and you can sense the emotions as the scene plays out. Not for me but definitely for someone else!
