This book sounded really interesting for me and from what I read, it is very well written. It's just not for me though. The military and politics can be very complicated for people, and even though the author is explaining everything in a decent neutral tone - it is just facts and her experience - it brings up feelings. Even her relationship with her husband and how they ended up married just made me feel off. I think there is an audience for this book and I'm sure the found family and sisterhood is beautiful.
