Honestly the blurb of the book didn't really make me that excited to read the book bc I have complicated feelings about the army and how someone could give up their life to be an army wife. But after reading the First Impression, I could see and understand a little better how the author's life ended up like that. I probably would've chosen another title than The Wives because that was very vague and may not attract the right audience.
