I did not realize this is a memoir and knowing that it kind of changes my mindset, but not in a bad way. When I was right out of high school I almost became an Army wife, but did not accept my boyfriend's proposal. I think this would an interesting read for me as to what my life might have been had I gotten married to him. The writing was great and the story kept my interest.
