Discovering books like The Wives by Simone Gorrindo is one of my favorite things about BookishFirst! This is not the kind of book that typically lands on my TBR, but after reading the First Look I'm definitely impressed enough by the premise and writing style that I want to continue reading! I'm not sure if this would be a good fit for my high school library, so I want to find out more about the coming-of-age angle as I read on to discern if this is a memoir with some crossover appeal for teen readers.
