That yellow ribbon on the Christmas tree - I did not expect it to hit me in the gut the way it did. I have cried twice already in twenty eight pages. The writing is obviously powerful and I cannot imagine what is going to follow.
One doesn’t really think about the details of the lives army personnel and their families have to experience. This book - the first of its kind for me - will evidently bridge that gap.
I can’t wait to find out how the wives discover themselves and navigate their new lives.
