I titled this review as "Wow. Just WOW " because really, once you've read this, what else is there to say?
The description to The Wife Between Us says that the reader will make so many assumptions in the beginning of the book about what exactly the book is about. That description could not be more accurate.
What LOOKS like a jealous ex-wife story.
What LOOKS like a cheating husband story.
What LOOKS like a love triangle story.
And as soon as you think you know what's happening, you realize you couldn't be farther from the truth.
This was my first read by Hendricks and Pekkanen and it has led me to read every other book that has followed. I steadily recommend their books, but The Wife Between Us is my absolute favorite.
