Although the characters at the beginning of the book were pretty stereotypical. I appreciate how the author wrote to make the reader interpret them as just that. Then the tables and plot are flipped completely upside down and nothing will look the same. The novel was very enticing after the big plot reveal ( I refuse to give out spoilers). It took too long to get to the big plot reveal and I felt like I was slugging through a stereotypical story hoping that there was a big surprise at the end. thank goodness that there was a surprise because the majority of the book was pretty blah. I am sure that this will make good television one day. I felt like this read more like a script. Therefore I will give it 3 stars
