The cover of this book drew me in right away! Upon first glance, it looks as if the woman on the cover is the same person. Like it is just two angles of the same person. Is this a clue? So of course my mind starts thinking already if this is hint as to what happens in the book! Or maybe I'm just assuming already. Even though we are advised not to assume anything! Based off of the first 4 chapters I can see that this story is going to have a few twists and turns and that it's going to take the reader on a wild ride. Or at least I am hoping it does. How can I stop now? I'm too deep into this story to give up on it. I want to know how this plays out. At this point, I am intrigued by both Vanessa and Nellie. So I haven't picked a side just yet. The writing style flows well and is easy to understand. The dialog between characters isn't confusing. Overall, this book seems like a very promising addition to the Mysteries & Thrillers genre.
