This is a very different book. The writing style was a little difficult to get used to at first. It was a little confusing in places. The author seems to have combined writing styles through the book so you had trouble telling if it was flashbacks or something current. The end ties some of it up but still leaves questions about what was going on.
The main character goes through a metamorphosis of sorts from beginning to end. I felt sorry for her. Everyone seems to have some kind of angle going on. It’s a slow paced book.
