I went back and forth with this book. Every time I thought I was enjoying it, something would happen that would really make me lose faith in our main character. But then again, every time her actions and her attitude towards her husband/ex husband would infuriate me, the book would change direction and have me rooting for her again. It was a roller-coaster.
There were twists and turns and moments of realization and clarity. There were times when I thought our heroine was weak and allowed things to happen to her when she was fully aware of the dangers in her life, but ultimately, this book changed my mind in all the best ways.
This was truly such a great read that definitely kept me guessing until the very end. It was my first read from this author duo, but definitely not my last.
