2017 has been a landmark year for thrillers and this book will keep you on your toes as you try to figure out who, and what, and why. There are twists galore and you may want to reread portions of the book to make sure you followed this convoluted plot.
That said, I really do believe that this is a case of too many twists for one book. We like to figure out some of the book's twists don't we? We don't want it to be too easy, as well as too difficult, to determine who dunnit or motives.
I did figure out a major component of the book in the first 40 pages (I write in the margins to keep track of my assumptions), but nope, I sure didn't see the end coming!
I don't plot spoil, and I hate spoilers, but let me tell you if this is turned into a movie you'll have to see it twice to figure it all out!
I recommend this book and I can't stop thinking about it. It did take me a bit of time and "sticktoitiveness" to get through the first part but then I'm really glad I stuck with it!
