I really enjoyed the style of writing and the format of the book. I have always had a soft spot for books that change speaker and voice every chapter and for mysteries or thrillers.

I really liked the characterization differences between those in the story. In the first four chapters, Nellie is described as a pretty straight forward, good person who is grateful to be loved by Richard. Richard is possibly being less than honest and forthcoming with Nellie and may even have committed adultry, but we do not yet know his full story (based on the preview) as the original wife, Vanessa, even identifies herself as not bringing much to the marriage, as someone with a drinking problem, as helping cause the marriage's downfall, as someone who is unreliable and prone to lie, and as someone literally stalking the past.

I would be interested to see where the story goes and would recommend it to lovers of books like Girl on a Train and Gone Girl.
