When I glanced at the reviews and saw this book had an average of over 4 stars, I decided to read it. It has earned every one of those stars! This is a psychological thriller at it’s very best. Greer Hendricks pulled me into the story that she so very carefully crafted. I had a definite opinion in the beginning that abruptly changed as new tidbits of information were parceled out: much like the crumbs Hansel left behind in that fairy tale.
The people were described so well that I definitely got to know them. The plot was absolutely amazing. The story is so realistic that at times I wished I could have given one of the characters some very good advice: “Don’t do that!” In the end, after several surprises, it was all neatly wrapped up in a way that I never could have expected.
