Honestly I was afraid to pick this one, coz when everyone claims it to be the best, one's expectations sky rocket and then there's the plum to the earth. Finally after reading this I'm happy to say SATISFACTION GUARANTEED!! I began reading with 2 POV's Nellie and Vanessa and then Chapter 18 happens..WHAT??? Did I read wrong, what in the world was that?!? "Face-palm" moment! Go back and read again!! There now things are getting somewhere.
The Wife Betweeen us is a very addictive and compelling read and every interruption feels like, Grr...WHAT ? Can't you see I'm reading here? But truly after that first twisty surprise, the turns in the story are not out of the world or being used first-time in a story. There's quite a few similarities with other husband/wife thrillers that I have been reading for the past year but the authors succeed big time in cleverly plotting it and making the reader gasp in suprise. Even the ending was a Aha moment. Recommended!
