*got audiobook for free on libby* Wait....wat.... That was a ride! Ngl for a while i was like eh just another thriller (but i mean i pretty much went into reading this book expecting that so 🤷) but damn! I did not want to put this book down and had to stew on it before i could review it bc im still just like, wtf but in a good way lol

I did really like this book from the start and I loved how it evolved from what sounded like creepy stalking to trying to save someone, to actually making someones back story 100% relevant!

the only thing I didn't care about in this book is the whole woe is me I had an abortion im a horrible person b.s. like good god I would love to read a book for once that doesn't use abortion as "I don't deserve kids/cant have them bc of the abortion" trope. I get its fiction but like the fact that ive only ever read ONE book that didn't have that is overly annoying considering statistics. if it hadn't been brought up more than once it wouldn't have been as annoying either but it was imo dragged out as a "abortion= bad", the whole thing on that was just weird. rest of the book was great tho.
