This book was really interesting! It didn't play out the way I expected it to, but none of the best books do. I will say that if it had been written differently, like in chronological order, the "twists" would not really have been twists. Some people may love this writing style, some may hate it. I've seen reviews from both perspectives. I personally thought it was interesting and clever. Some of the twists make you completely rethink everything you had previously read, and it really was true what the description said: assume nothing. I wouldn’t say anything is mind-blowing or extremely crazy, but it’s just very clever the way everything fits together. I thought everything played out realistically and the characters constantly took me by surprise. Everything connected in a logical, if unexpected, way.
I really can't say much more without giving away big twists, but if you are a fan of twisty books like Gone Girl, while this one doesn't quite live up to that high standard, it's still really good.
