I suspect that when I finish the book, it will be a five star rating from me. The sneak look was more than promising. The writing is easy to follow, important for me. Also important is that so far there are no long descriptive passages that don't appear to be needed. The writing flows. I am sure the plot will be revealed in time, but so far it looks like Vanessa is upset her ex-husband is marrying Nellie and might be stalking her. The characters are interesting so far, and it is easy to make many assumptions at this stage. We do not yet know much about Richard and both Nellie and Vanessa appear to be flawed.
