The plot was very cleverly crafted. An extremely twisty and unpredictable story. I enjoy psychological suspense .I hated having to put the book down in order to meet requirements in my everyday life.
The setting for this novel is the city of New York. Its bustling, noisy, impersonal background is a great setting for this story about two women whose lives revolve around Richard. There is a twist at the end of the story. I will reread this again to ensure I have understood it correctly.
The story is told mainly from the perspective of Nellie, recently divorced from Richard. She learns that Richard is already engaged to someone else.
